Michael Edwards, CEO and founder, brings over three decades of hands-on experience across manufacturing, sourcing, purchasing and product development. His career has covered every major category of furniture, working closely with retail groups, hospitality operators and interior design clients internationally. This breadth gives Hobo Studio its commercial intelligence — understanding not only design refinement, but pricing structure, scalability and market positioning. Michael leads with a pragmatic, design-led mindset: products must be beautiful, but they must also function, perform and hold their place in the market.

Stephen Nixon, Production Manager and shareholder, also brings more than thirty years of industry experience. With a focus on logistics, systems and operational discipline, Stephen ensures that design intent is executed with precision. From process control to quality assurance, his oversight strengthens the studio’s reputation for reliability and consistency.
